We are available to answer your queries, advise you on the most suitable hikes and walks for your family and the best places to explore, book a nanny for the evening, recommend a good restaurant, organise a massage session, assist you with car rental or train reservations…
From the minute you enter the Village du Port, we put everything into place so you can have the most enjoyable holiday. We are here to manage your last minute requests, deal with unforeseen events, changes in the weather…for a tailor-made experience.
As we grew up here, we know the Valley like the back of our hand. We can give you expert advice on the best activities, authentic discoveries and lesser-known places for yourself and your children to discover… transforming your holiday into a real adventure full of great experiences.

Depending on the season, the opening hours may vary. If reception is closed, don’t worry, we are probably in the garden… Ring the bell and we will be there in 5 minutes …

- Tent Nature / Dordogne : €25 (2/3 nights) – €40 (3 nights and over)
Laundry and sanitary facilities
Laundry facilities are available in the sanitary block
(€4 per token – available at reception)
A brand-new sanitary block is equipped with toilets, children’s toilets, washbasins, family shower and hairdryers. Everything is provided for maximum comfort and a real bathroom feel.
The baby area is equipped with bathtub and changing table and two bathrooms are equipped for people with reduced mobility.
Our sanitary block is within an enclosed building space for better comfort. The facilities are brand-new and particular attention is paid to cleanliness.
It is designed as a functional space but also decorated with the greatest care in the choice of materials and colours.
Internet access
Fiber Optic is coming but the Internet connection is not always as good as we would like it to be… On the plus side, our rural setting brings the rare benefit of truly disconnecting from the busy modern world …

In an era of overwhelming pace, we strive to enjoy the present. At the Village du Port, you can slow down and savour each moment. On the banks of the Dordogne river, your mind can finally let go to the sound of flowing water and nature. As we say in France: “On prend le temps de vivre”, we take time to enjoy life.
For a gentle detox, what about leaving your phones behind for a bit and rediscover the essentials: new encounters, the beauty of nature, the sound of silence and the real taste of authentic farm products…
Digital addicts should not worry though! The 4 G works perfectly in the whole holiday village and the WiFi at reception is stable. So you will be able to stay connected, should you really want to!

Breakfast basket
Breakfast can be delivered in a basket on the terrace of your accommodation or eaten at the farm: €12 /pers
Our Copious breakfasts include hot drinks, French pastries, fruit juice, bread, homemade jams from the Valley, local yogurt and muesli.
You can also order breakfast à la carte directly at « chez Sophie ».
Chez Sophie Bar
On-site shop with products to eat on the terrace or take away. Choice of organic wines from the region and local delicacies to share around for your aperitif. Great atmosphere under the garden lanterns or around a brazier for unforgettable moments of “art de vivre à la française”…
Grocery shop
Our small grocery shop and delicatessen has both local and essential products: jams from the Dordogne Valley, organic wine, walnut oil, duck specialities, ice creams, aperitifs and local beers as well as the delicious homemade cakes from Marie …
The aromatic garden
If you need aromatic herbs for your tea, salad or to flavour your meat for the BBQ, please help yourself in our herb garden planted just for you.
Pizza truck
Every Monday and Wednesday (in summer) a pizza truck is parked opposite from reception.
