At the Village du Port campsite, there is a whole range of free outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy.
No time to get bored! Your holiday can be as active or relaxing as you want.
Whether you need constant physical activities or quiet time to relax, you will find the perfect balance to enjoy life at your own pace. And if you wish to spend a quiet evening in with your family, you can even borrow board games.
Free from the constraints of the daily routine, you can experience new family adventures and create long lasting memories you will cherish for years to come!
Find your own rhythm
Stroll to the river, swim in the refreshing waters of the Dordogne, get in a canoe and glide along the water…
You can try your hand at fly-fishing, enjoy a lazy breakfast on the terrace, snooze in a hammock and watch your children play… Breathe in… and relax.
A playground for everyone
For sports enthusiasts, lots of activities to enjoy with family and friends:
- Paddle court, basketball hoop
- Volleyball / badminton court
- Half-court tennis
- Ping pong table
- Pétanque court lit in the evening
- Signposted walks from the village (guides available)
- And for joggers: a 10 km signposted route through woods to the river banks

The garden and little farm
Children and parents can walk or bike throughout our holiday park as we have a no car policy to ensure everyone’s safety.
You can stroll through the gardens and orchard, catch frogs with a net, feed the farm animals: bread to the horses, compost to the hens and every Thursday evening the children collect eggs from the henhouse at 6pm!
Added fun: board games and wooden games are available at reception free of charge for a great family evening!

Every week discover a different village in the Dordogne Valley by torchlights and lanterns. The passionate tour guides take you back in time through the history of the Valley.

An introduction to fishing
Every Tuesday afternoon throughout the summer, an instructor from the Fishing Federation takes a small group of children to introduce them to different fishing techniques. He also teaches them how to help protect the natural environment.
At the end of the day, each child will have his or her own fishing card to continue fishing throughout the holidays!
Private lessons with a fishing instructor are also available from ½ day up.

Canoeing on the Dordogne
The river is directly accessible from the campsite, making a canoeing day on the Dordogne a must!
With inflatables, a canoe or a paddle board, this will be an unforgettable day-out.
Good tip: take a picnic with you to have a swim/lunch/rest on the large beach in front of Belcastel castle. Beautiful!

Rock-climbing and caving – 2 km
Surrounded by limestone plateaus, the Dordogne Valley and the Lot department are a paradise for cavers and climbers.
